• Mi Harem Se our future is safe when we see one of our top Air Vanuatu Pilots sauntering down the one way between fitness for life and VNPF. He was so cool under pressure of screaming bus drivers, one had to think maybe he had already done this in a simulator. Silip!

• Mi Harem Se many people are ignoring their grace period for motor vehicle registration. After the extension was given they seem to abuse it, seems like they will be in for a big shock come June 1st as the Police and Municipal are just counting down the days, so be warned you will lose your vehicle and it will be your fault. Silip!

• Mi Harem Se income Tax is still on the table yet no one seems to want it, must say is a strange one for a democracy, even though the rumours are that Permanent residencies are being offered same as before when a certain big man was needed to be coerced into an ATO adventure. Silip!

• Mi Harem Se Australia Senator Nick Xenephone is championing our cause for short wave radio to be reintroduced after our PM wrote an open letter to Government, requesting the ABC to reverse its decision and reinstate the much needed shortwave communications network into the Pacific. Silip!

• Mi Harem Se the women’s and girls in ICT had a huge turnout at the Convention Centre on Thursday for a full day of promoting young girls in ICT. The winners of the Smart Sista competition was also announced with three young girls between the ages of 9-15 selected to travel to New York, USA to compete in a robotic competition. Congratulations and the dobber will unearth their names next week. Silip!

• Mi Harem Se VFF put out a desperate call to get the 6ft 7 goalie an exoneration from Lycee in the event he fails year thirteen he can do it again at Lycee with support from the Minister of Education in the best interests of the U20’s competing in South Korea. Took some convincing but looks like he will be NZ bound today week. Congrats to all concerned to make it happen. Silip!

• Mi Harem Se RMS are working round the clock to conclude any and all works as fast as they can before they move on too stage two, yes there is a stage two and from what I hear we need to really practice up on our patience because it isn’t gonna get any better folks. Silip!

• Mi Harem Se many are talking in the nakamals that there is no assistance from the Gov’t to assist in guaranteeing their jobs and are sick and tired of seeing foreigners doing unskilled labour, isn’t it time we get it together and do what’s right for Vanuatu and not some one who pays us to do what they want. Talk about paying off the piper. Silip!

• Mi Harem Se VNPF was inundated with CCECC staff wanting to know about their fund payments, luckily all was sorted and after a few hours of tooing and froing the guys proved to be solid in paying their staffs, phew man that was a close one. Silip!

• Mi Harem Se all is well that ends well, sadly in Santo it isn’t ending well and the JF case is still cracking on, must be some serious money in this kava. Silip!

• Mi Harem Se a certain restaurateur was not enjoying his profession on Thursday night when yet again his menu left and others were dining, a row ensued but as always everything is back to normal. Silip!

• Mi Harem Se no one seems to be able to tell anyone when the new runways works will be started when are they going to get this done and sorted so we can all get back to work with some confidence? Silip!

• Mi Harem Se certain road works that should normally be down are not as they want poor old RMS to shoulder the blame for their incompetence [not RMS’s] when is some one going to realise we need good solid roads be they graded or repaired so please some one with some kahoona’s step up and get this sorted, we surely after nearly 37 years can fix a bloody road. Silip!
