VANUATU DISCOVERY TRAILS PROJECT
CALL FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST – INDUSTRY COACHES & MENTORS
The Vanuatu Discovery Trails Project (VDTP) is one of several projects supported by NZ
Aid through the Vanuatu Strategic Tourism Action Plan (VSTAP). The VDTP is a three year
funded programme that aims to increase local income and other benefits from tourism
in Efate and Santo through the development of a thematic Tourism trail on each Island.
This will create a more diverse range of experiences and attractions along with increased
visitor dispersal and spending, by new and existing visitors.
The Project is now seeking Expressions of Interest from industry specialists in priority
fields to join the VDTP Team in upskilling the Local Business Owners in various business
needs the project has identified through a business enterprise survey.
Coaches and Mentors are required in the following fields:

Business management and administration
Accommodation and tours development
Marketing and promotion
Locally made Handicraft production
Housekeeping for Bungalows
Customer service skills
Basic First aid

Interested specialists are invited to submit their CVs, including work permit, qualifications
and experience, to the VSTAP office within the Ministry of Tourism.
