Microfinance Officer – NBV Pangi Branch
The National Bank of Vanuatu is seeking to recruit an experienced, qualified
and motivated person for its Microfinance officer role at Pangi Branch, South
Pentecost – Penama Province.
The Role
This role will be responsible for the promotion and marketing of the Bank’s
Rural Microfinance product and other bank products and services to customers
in Central and South Pentecost and any other locations as may be directed by
the Bank. The position holder will also be responsible for assisting customers in
preparing loan proposals for submission to the Head Office, as well as providing
support to both existing and new Microfinance Customers within the area. The
role will require traveling for customer awareness or communication within the
communities of Central and South Pentecost in the Penama province and other
locations throughout Vanuatu whenever required.
The successful applicant will be expected to posses:
• Certificate in Business (or related field)
• Good customer services skills
• At least 5 years experience in rural and community business development;
• Good Leadership & Assertiveness skills;
• Good understanding of credit analysis;
• Good financial analysis skills
• Good Communication & Interpersonal skills.
