MAA International is a well established International aid and relief agency with a strong presence in
the South Pacific. We are building a fully sustainable primary school in Middle Bush on Tanna and
are now recruiting dynamic, enthusiastic, driven staff to support this project.
A position for Teaching Principal is now available for employment to begin in January 2018.The
successful candidate will be a graduate with a minimum of two years experience with sound
pedagogy and Vanuatu curriculum knowledge.
We require a team player with strong communication skills who is willing to build robust
relationships with students and community and commit to all extra curricular activities.
This position will suit a person passionate about sustainable agrikalja and kastom, open to learning
about the environment, permaculture and new strategies in teaching, learning and assessment.
The successful applicant will have leadership skills, be a quick thinker with initiative, open
mindedness and flexibility. Ongoing professional development and mentoring will be provided in
English, and will then need to be applied and delivered in vernacular, Bislama and English.
