Funding is expected to be around AUD $2.8 million. This funding will be used by MFEM to contract technical assistance from international and local experts to assist in implementing priority activities to improve financial management and governance activities for the Government of Vanuatu. The MFEM Grant Coordinator will manage and facilitate procurement, contracting, payments and reporting for all activities related to the MFEM Grant provided by the Governance for Growth (GFG) Project. In addition the MFEM Grant Coordinator will assist the Department of Finance and Treasury (DOFT) to implement similar measures to improve procurement, contracting, payments and reporting for other major Australian funded projects managed by the Government of Vanuatu. Accordingly, Ministry of Finance seeking an experience and qualified person in a similar grant coordinator advisory role assignment, coordinating, managing and facilitate procurements during the past 5 years in at least coordination and management of projects. The Grant Coordinator will be engaged as soon as possible and begin working with the Office of the Director General. It is anticipated that around 48 weeks [1 year] work will be required. Work is expected to commence by early May 2018.
