PROVISION OF TECHNICAL ADVISORY SERVICES
FOR BIOMEDCAL MAINTENANCE
The MOH wishes to contract a suitably qualified and experienced Biomedical Engineering
company or individual for provision of Consultancy Services, 2nd line support and On-the-Job
Training to Ministry of Health Biomedical Technicians. The technical advisory component is for a
period of 10 months from 1st March – 31st December 2018.
The Biomedical Engineering organisation / individual will be required to provide technical support
in order to assist the Ministry of Health (MOH) to meet the following objectives:
1.

Biomedical Equipment fleets are managed in accordance with supplier recommendations
and are supported by established maintenance and repair systems.

2.

Technical capacity of local biomedical technicians at Vila Central Hospital (VCH) and
other provincial hospitals are increased through on the job training and other
training methods

3.

Local biomedical services within the Ministry of Health are enhanced through growth and
development of personnel.

Reference, between Monday 12th February and Friday 16th January 2018 by either:

visiting the Finance Unit, Ministry of Health or the Reception at Vanuatu College
of Nursing Education during office hours

emailing Robinson Charlie (rcharlie@vanuatu.gov.vu) and Nish Vivekananthan
		 (nvivekananthan@vanuatu.gov.vu) with ‘RFQ CS1801’ in the subject title.
Responses to this RFQ must be received by 3pm, Friday 23rd February 2018.
